Sizing is crucial when purchasing custom hats. If it doesn't fit, you won't wear it. It may sound simple, but trust me, I have dealt with many cases of mismeasured heads. I'll discuss effective ways for measuring your head for hats.
As soon as you complete your order, I will send you a sizing kit. It includes two different methods to measure your head. Use them both. Instructions are included, and videos will be provided to assist you. Please contact me with any questions.
1. Measure with a tape measure. Place the tape measure on your head where you want your custom hat to sit. This is usually two fingers above your brow in the front and one finger width above your ear on the side. Be sure to pay attention to the back of your head as well. A lot of people don't pull the measuring tape down in the back far enough. Don't pull too tight or measure too loose, as this will dictate the fit of your hat. Measure in centimeters (cm). If you're in between sizes, simply round to the next larger size. This process is easier if a friend or family member helps you.
2. Visit your local country and western store, seamstress, tailor, or fine clothing store to have your head measured.
Watch the videos, and please feel free to contact me with any issues, comments, or concerns.
