Our Story
Boone Dog Hat Company, located in Walton, Kentucky—famous for its fast horses, beautiful women, and smooth bourbon—was born out of my desire for change after 33 years as a health care provider. As I approached retirement, my love for southwestern and Native American decor and attire inspired me to create unique hat designs. Although I had always been self-conscious about wearing cowboy hats, which aren’t widely embraced in this region, one day I decided to embrace my passion for stylish hat styles and wear my hats confidently. I began collecting custom cowboy hats and fedoras, which eventually led me to explore making them myself.
This is a home-based online company, but visitors are always welcome. Boone, my black lab, is the namesake of my business.
